WHAT I LOVE ABOUT …
Jim Borden’s Blog – “Borden’s Blather” – Is The Writer’s Inherently Charming, Intelligent And Witty Presentation, And Well, It’s Simply Neat Fun To Hang Out There …
FROM JIM ABOUT JIM
… Emerson’s words capture perfectly the kind of life I hope to live:
“To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

MY FAVORITE POST
All Of Them …
But If I Had To Narrow It Down To A Couple Dozen, I’d Say Don’t Miss Jim’s Weekly Feature “Monday Music”
Spoiler Alert: It’s Published On Monday’s And It’s About Music.

Jim’s A Big Fan Of Bruce Springsteen. So, Let’s Go With “Born To Run“
Enjoy.

MICK’S NOTE:
(*) I Didn’t Ask Jim’s Permission To Refer To Him As “J. Bo” … Any Resemblance To J. Lo Would Be Coincidental And False. J. BoLo Share A First Initial, A Period, A Space (Not Literally Together … The Same Space Between Names … Uh, The Long Key On A Keyboard), And The Second Letter In Their Last Name.
That’s All I’m Saying …
“And, Thanks, Jim.”

Awesome! Your descriptions of Borden’s Blather are perfectly on point; I couldn’t agree more. Jim is a glowing reminder that there are friendly people on the internet! Great post, Michael.

I had a speech all prepared, but I’m getting a signal from the camera guy that it’s time for a commercial break. So I’ll keep this short. Thank you, Michael, for this honor and your kind words. I love the picture of the juggling bee and the great song choice as well. I am glad we have connected via the WordPress community, and I always appreciate your comments on my blog.
I also enjoy reading your insightful and sometimes cryptic (to borrow SnapDragon’s word) posts each day and I especially admire your commitment to feeding the hungry.
*A-Rod is going to be a bit jealous that I share a space with J. Lo. My wife, M-Bor, might not be too happy about it either…
P.S. Is it bad form for me to like this post?

Those pesky camera guys. They may hook you once the “exit and cut it now music starts playing.
The pleasures all mine. I’ve enjoyed our exchanges and comments and reading and learning so much from your blog.
Really, I feel terrible for poor J. Lo and A-Rod. Please go lightly on those two.
Thank you for your comments.
I think you’re incapable of bad form. It’s been perfect thus far.
All the best for happy and safe Memorable Day weekend.

Incapable of bad form… hmmmm…
You haven’t seen me on the dance floor; that’s all I’m capable of…

Well, at least you don’t suffer the humiliation of thinking you can dance … like this fellow 🕺

I don’t know – it’s pretty painful going out on the dance floor when you know how bad it is going to be… 🙂
